I’m Robert Scriven, an experienced professional who has worked in corporate treasury for 20 years and over 30 years in finance. I am a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accounts in England and Wales, having trained with KPMG, and a fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.

My last role was as Treasury and Financing Director for Capricorn Energy PLC; a FTSE 250/100 London listed oil and gas business. I led a treasury team with global responsibility for all aspects of treasury. We operated accross the UK, Europe, North and Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, Central and South America.

I have negotiated and managed many debt and other facilities ranging from $50m to $3.5bn, setup investment programmes to manage portfolios ranging from <$100m to $5bn and selected and implemented numerous systems including 2 bank agnostic payment SWIFT and API based payment hubs and 2 Treasury Management Systems.

My passions include negotiation of 'fit for purpose facilities' and putting in place optimal systems and processes to provide the treasury team with efficient, error free, cost effective straight through processing and optimal risk management. Innovation and problem solving are in my blood.
